FROM BENCH TO COMMUNITIES LAB

Through engaged scholarship, our lab develops transdisciplinary community-based research projects to assess the impacts of anthropogenic pressures on health and well-being by combining information from multiple levels of biological organization.

Engaged scholarship is defined as when faculty engage their expertise with the expertise of community stakeholders in order to co-create new knowledge that serves the public good, extending beyond the academic purpose of the work.
